Launched in spring 2022, the LINK policy is structured around three central pillars
– the Land, People, and Value Chains & Regions –
and underpinned by the strong foundations of our Cooperative Governance and sustainable economic model.
We have made a total of 20 commitments broken down into targets, indicators and projects, some of which are already up and running.

CO-CONSTRUCTION
The work on redesigning VIVESCIA's sustainable development strategy began at the start of 2021, focusing all our energy on this crucial issue. The results were validated in the autumn. To ensure its credibility and extend its strategic reach, the new Sustainable Development policy was built by listening attentively to all stakeholders. It was also informed by a process of continuous dialogue and collective discussion between Group businesses and the governing bodies.

IN ACTION
LINK was designed to flow through all Group businesses as a call to collective action. As a single vector for progress, innovation and collective performance, LINK provides a framework for achieving ambitious and quantified targets to ensure that the individual sectors and businesses of the Group are integral to our response to climate and societal issues. Structural projects implemented during the year include:
➔ Group CSR Governance: to lock in our Group-wide CSR commitment, the CSR Steering Committee that guided the preparatory work became the Group CSR Committee in January 2022.
➔ Climate strategy: initiated in the autumn of 2021, the climate strategy and its greenhouse gas emissions reduction trajectories for the period to 2030 are currently being finalised, and will be presented at the end of Quarter 1 of 2023.
